The 2006-07 Charles Glass Novice Memorial Wrestling Tournament Draws Great Numbers

PSAL wrestling grows with the Charles Glass Novice Memorial Wrestling Tournament

This years Charles Glass Memorial Novice Wrestling Tournament drew close to three hundred PSAL wrestlers from twenty-five schools. This was one of the largest turnouts in recent years. These student-athletes competed for the top four positions in fifteen weight classes, many numbering over twenty competitors. All showed perseverance and fortitude throughout ten hours of competition.

The award for the Most Falls in Least Aggregate Time was won by Derrick Ageday, Springfield Gardens High School , pinning five opponents in thirteen minutes and fifty three seconds.
