MWA Beat the Streets Middle School Programs Seeks CoachesMWA Beat the Streets Middle School Programs Seeks Coaches
The newly created Beat the Streets Middle School Wrestling Program, after a successful pilot program at the Baruch Middle School in lower Manhattan, has grown to 20 schools. The program is funded by the Beat the Streets Foundation with a winter and spring league. Foundation seeks teachers/coaches for the program; no wrestling experience required. It is a 3 day per week, after school program teaching the Seven Basic Skills of wrestling in an intramural setting. We need teachers who have a strong interest in the development of kids to become an integral part of building the base of wrestling in New York City. Please contact Bill Crum, Executive Director at 646-244-9714 - edmwa@aol.com or Al Bevilacqua 631-598-2281 - albevi@optonline.net or go to www.mwausa.org for more information regarding the program.
