Zadick, Warren, Cejudo recognized for achievements by Colorado Springs Sports Corp

The Colorado Springs Sports Corporation issued the following:

The Sports Corp Salutes The Best of Sports In Colorado Springs in the last year and the rich traditions we have created as a city with its own, unique sports identity in the state of Colorado,

Included in its featured sports stories were the following wrestling news items:

* Coronado High School senior wrestler Henry Cejudo (Sunkist Kids) wins the U.S. National freestyle gold medal at 121 pounds in April, becoming the first prep wrestler to win a national freestyle crown in USA Wrestling history.

* U.S. Olympic Training Center wrestlers Bill Zadick (freestyle 145.5 lbs.) and Joe Warren (Greco-Roman 132 lbs.) win World Championships for the USA.

* At the State 5A Wrestling Championships, Coronado High´s Henry Cejudo (103), and Wasson teammates Jesse Cruz (130) and Erik Talmich (140) are crowned state champions. Ethan Martinez of St.Mary High wins the 3A title at 119 pounds.
